Dani you were huge tonight. You matched their physicality. You lead the way for us.

Viv that last scramble for the ball was brilliant.

Charlotte helped us tonight but her court time also didn’t go to plan. With Kira’s injury and Ruby not well  we needed Charlotte. Thank you for turning up Charlotte.

Ruby your spirit and passion keep us together.

Kira… what a massive effort. Thank you and well done. Simply brave and determined.

The game was not how we play but we were able to scrap it out.

Our championship coach

A big congratulations to our very own coach Mark Alabakov on winning the NBL 1 Championship on the weekend with the Lady Braves. Mark also was awarded coach of the year after they braves finished the season 23-0. Our Emeralds are so lucky each week to have his experience, professionalism and teaching available to them.

Well Done to Kira on cheering the Braves home on the night in Melbourne and getting to hold the trophy. Amazing!

We were challenged tonight and recouped to take the win. Terrific effort by the girls to stick to our structures.

The next few games are important for us to secure the double chance.
