Whilst it was scrappy early we adjusted and played our normal game full of tenacity.

As a coach it is wonderful to see a score card like this with everyone scoring. It shows we move and pass the ball well.

The next level

Over the next few weeks we will be amping up the coaching and skills. Our girls are a great team and are now ready for some more offense and more of the technical specifics required in defence.

Whilst working on this we will continue to enjoy the game and celebrate success if it comes with improvement of our personal skills.

Looking forward to getting them back on court.

Game 4 W 19-16

A very scrappy game. With not a lot of fouls being called the girls had to adjust to the game.

Our passing was “ not on point” ( Thanks Nadia)

It was great to see us finish off after we were headed. 

The girls dug their heels in and got us over the line. A terrific last few minutes to watch their tenacity and effort. I walk away each week grateful I am coaching these girls and not coaching against them.

I took no photos so I’ll post these beauties from a few years ago. 

They are growing quickly!
